What are the safety distances around the flue? | de/DE

For safety reasons, there must be a certain minimum distance between the walls and the flue. This distance varies according to the type of flue and the materials used:

  • Efficiency-insulated triple-wall concentric flues: 5 cm
  • Non-insulated PGI double-wall concentric ducts: 10 cm
  • Therminox and inox-galva insulated double wall flues: 8 cm
  • Single-wall connecting flue with enamelled smoke pipe, 2 mm steel smoke pipe, etc. 3 times the diameter of the flue (except for diameters 80 mm and 100 mm for which the minimum distance must be 375 mm)
  • Ventilated cladding: 1 times the flue diameter
